What exactly is a short-term assignment?

A short-term assignment is a fixed-duration engagement — typically 30 days to 6 months — where a professional is deployed to your organisation for a specific project, backfill, seasonal need or interim coverage. The professional remains on Cynosure's payroll; you get the output without employment liability.

How fast can you deploy a short-term hire?

For common roles (accountants, operations coordinators, customer service, software engineers with mainstream skills), 5 to 10 business days. For specialist or senior roles, 2 to 3 weeks. For urgent requirements where we have bench-ready candidates, 48 hours is possible.

What's included in your monthly invoice?

The all-inclusive monthly rate covers the professional's CTC, PF and ESI contributions, gratuity provisioning, professional tax, statutory compliance, payroll processing, and our service fee. You receive one clean invoice with zero hidden charges.

Can we convert a short-term hire to permanent?

Absolutely — this is our Contract-to-Hire model. If a short-term professional is the right long-term fit, we facilitate conversion with a pre-agreed conversion fee. You essentially get a 3–6 month "working interview" before committing.

What if the person isn't the right fit?

In the first 15 days, we replace at no additional cost. After that, you can release with standard notice and we'll deploy a replacement. Because short-term engagements are contractual, the exit process is clean and predictable.

Do you handle short-term staffing outside major cities?

Yes. While our bench is concentrated in metros, we have active recruiter partners in 150+ tier-2 and tier-3 cities. Timelines for smaller cities are typically 10–15 days instead of 5–10.

Is there a minimum engagement duration?
